Gorgeous Debutante: Kristine

Now it’s finally’s Kristine’s turn to be legal and to have an epic debutante ball of her own. =) I also had the honor of creating her older sister’s gown a little over a year ago and it has always been a wonderful experience with the siblings and their mom from the very beginning!

Kristine looked effortlessly elegant in a tasteful strapless red gown with a huge ball skirt with a sexy cutout at the back.

Gorgeous Debutante: Eunice

Eunice had an Alice in Wonderland Themed Debut (Tim Burton Version) at the Edsa Shangri-la. =) During our initial appointment, she actually showed me some of her pegs, I came up with a totally different design but thankfully Eunice, her sister and her mom liked it more.=) I’m really thankful when I have clients who are open minded to new ideas, creative freedom is bliss!!!

Her ball gown skirt is detachable which leaves a cute tulle skirt underneath!

With a statuesque model figure, Abby looked absolutely amazing on her teal gown accented with hand beaded gold and ivory beadwork.

At the Weddings and Beyond Bridal Fair

Last weekend, Jan 14-15, I participated in the Weddings and Beyond Bridal Fair held at the PICC Forum. My absolute biggest fans: my sister Garet and my boyfriend Martin, were my enthusiastic assistants who helped me give out brochures and explain my work. Was so grateful to have them aboard as my cheerleaders!

It was a pleasure meeting all the couples there, and thank you to all those who stopped to look at the designs!

My boyfriend Martin, attempting to prevent sneaky shots haha!

So many people were touching this fluffy skirt, even the guys!

Divine Debutante: Shelanie

Shelanie Nicolan had an unbelievable debut, with the a grand hollywood set-up that was actually created by her dad! To everyone’s surprise, the whole set-up was also a surprise to Shelanie. Effortlessly pretty, Shelanie is also sweet and easy to talk to.

I created a soft powder blue gown for her with an asymmetrical neckline embellished with gemstones. With a tiered skirt in organza, highlighted with silver beadwork.

Divine Debutante: Marigold

Mother and daughter team, Minnie and Marigold, were always a pleasant addition
to my day. Tita Minnie was never dictating or imposing on what Marigold wanted
for her debutante gowns. And Marigold was always polite and took into account
her mom’s suggestions. The mood was always light and cheerful with these two
around. Marigold had her debut at The Glass Garden Events Venue. Her first gown
was in off-white Duchess silk with golden flowers we hand-crafted for her ball gown.
Her second gown was Grecian Goddess inspired, again with gold accents highlighted
by a woven chain at the center diagonal. If you can see the gown closely enough,
numerous tiny pleats in chiffon completed her asymmetrical top, while her draped
skirt. I also created Tita Minnie’s gown with a pleated Cationic Shantung for the top
accented by a ruby red Chantilly lace on the side.

Divine Debutante: Danielle

Danielle Gonong is a true morena beauty! She actually looks just like her mom, Dra. Anabelle, and crazily her mom is just as slim as her!!! For Danielle, we created two ball gowns with totally different looks. One looked more regal while the other had that dreamy fairytale feel with a skirt made from layer and layers of tulle.

I remember Danielle originally wanted everything to be all white but of course, Tita Annabelle was uneasy with something that would resemble a wedding gown too much. To soothe her worries and avoid the bridal effect, we opted for soft pink rosette accents. Danielle had her debut at The Glass Garden Events Venue making her dramatic grand entrance from the spiral staircase. Thanks to I-Shot Photography for the photos!

Divine Debutantes: Moira

Moira was a sight to behold in a bejeweled purple ball gown with a touch of silver to complement her neckline and waist, crystal accents spread across the top, and for a hint of romance, silver gloves as a final touch. The dress has an asymmetrical neckline and the skirt is tucked here and there to give it a dimension and a full bodied look.

Divine Debutantes: KC

KC had an amazing debut at Makati Shangri-la which I was fortunate enough to have attended. Her invite was a super cool passport with interesting tidbits about the Kingdom of Bahrain where this lucky girl hails from. I felt like I was transported to another country. It was a feast of colors and cultures, her debut was definitely heartfelt and entertaining complete with a belly dancer and a handsome entourage clad in the traditional headdress.

Of course, any princess’s special date with the world wouldn’t be complete without the gown of her dreams. KC always loved the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast so naturally she wanted a Belle inspired gown. I designed the dress for her sister too and she’s dressed in a deep purple one-shouldered dress.
