It was such a pleasure meeting Ivy and her mom, although I just witnessed snippets of their bond as mother and daughter. It’s easy to tell that they’re authentically best friends. =) To accentuate Ivy’s red gown, we used a custom laser cut which we beaded to add extra sparkle.
Patricia struck me as such as sweet somewhat shy girl who apparently has huge amounts of talent. =) For Patricia, I created a mint green gown in duchess satin, organza and beaded white lace. Later that evening, the skirt was removed to reveal the Diva in Izah.=)
Now it’s finally’s Kristine’s turn to be legal and to have an epic debutante ball of her own. =) I also had the honor of creating her sister’s (Kisha) gown a little over a year ago and it has always been a wonderful experience with the siblings and their mom from the very beginning!
Kristine looked effortlessly elegant in an understated strapless red gown with a huge ball skirt with a sexy cutout at the back.
Her debut set-up at The Glass Garden Events Venue
Eunice had an Alice in Wonderland Themed Debut (Tim Burton Version) at the Edsa Shangri-la. =) During our initial appointment, she actually showed me some of her pegs, I came up with a totally different design but thankfully Eunice, her sister and her mom liked it more.=) I’m really thankful when I have clients who are open minded to new ideas, creative freedom is bliss!!!
Her ball gown skirt is detachable which leaves a cute tulle skirt underneath!

Last weekend, Jan 14-15, I participated in the Weddings and Beyond Bridal Fair held at the PICC Forum. My absolute biggest fans: my sister Garet and my boyfriend Martin, were my enthusiastic assistants who helped me give out brochures and explain my work. Was so grateful to have them aboard as my cheerleaders!
It was a pleasure meeting all the couples there, and thank you to all those who stopped to look at the designs!
My boyfriend Martin, attempting to prevent sneaky shots haha!
So many people were touching this fluffy skirt, even the guys!
