Blushing Bride: Akina

Breaking away from the mold, Akina envisioned a timeless elegant bridal gown for her big day. No trendy illusion neckline or voluminous skirt for this fearless petite woman. She knew exactly what she wanted and my team and I were more than willing to deliver her dream wedding gown.=) I appreciated her individuality and this was a definitely refreshing a challenge for me. The results were much better than any of us imagined which leaves us with Akina, a happy beautiful blushing bride.

Received this message from Akina:

Hi, Camille

I was not able to thank you personally for my beautiful gown. :) Remember when I first sent you an email asking if you could create a gown for me na something similar to the “Bella gown” in Twilight? My gown pala, I realized, was waaaay more beautiful and elegant. It was simple pero very classy and I’ve never seen others pa na nagsuot ng parang ganun. First tayo! :) Ganda nung back details and the belt.

Thank you, Camille. Will be sending you photos soon (once nakuha ko na yung raw from the photographer). I hope to work with you again soon. Thank you for listening to my suggestions and for sharing your inputs :) We’re really really happy on how the gown turned out.

Blushing Bride: Gianne

How truly blessed I am to receive message after message of happy brides.=) What an honor to have this great opportunity to be part of Gianne’s happily ever after.

Hi Camille!

Just wanted to share some photos by Jorem Catilo (they’re finally here)! Thanks again for making me my dream wedding gown! I love the details and the color, especially when I saw how it looked like in the photos! Also as you can see in the pictures, I was very comfortable in it, and I loved how it moved. The photographers even took jump shots of me in it!

When we first started planning for our wedding, I was very meticulous in choosing who will design my wedding gown as my body type is not very ideal. I seldom wore dresses or gowns as I don’t see anything out there that fits me perfectly. But during our first meeting, I knew you were the one because when I told you my dilemma about my body type, you instantly designed a gown that I would look good in. One sketch and it was a done deal!!!

I really appreciate how you and Rona were very approachable and easy to talk to. It helped lessen the stress that I was going through and I always knew I was in good hands. Again my heartfelt thanks! I wish you all the best with your flourising career! Please also send my thanks to Rona! God bless to you and your family!

P.S. Baby Ava is sooo cute!!!

You’ll be surprised how many brides wear flats during their wedding, I’m telling you, there are a lot!

Why not jump shots?! ;)

Blushing Bride: Elaine

If I remember correctly, I think Elaine was not prepared to finalize her wedding gown yet when we first met. But we got along so well and well… the rest is history! With a happy ending too. ;) Just now, I received such a thoughtful and heartfelt message from Elaine. Nako, it was really the best way to cap off this hectic work day. =) Time slowed down even for just a moment and this reminded me to be thankful once again.

How can I not be happy with her message?!

Hi Camille!

How have you been? I know its been a couple of months since my wedding but i just want to say thank you for making my wedding dress! Sabi ko na nga ba hindi ako nagkamali sa designer na pinili ko eh. First meeting pa lang naten nagpasukat na agad ako sayo. You’re very accommodating and you know what your clients want. Everyone was saying that my dress is simple yet very elegant. I really feel pretty and sexy too at the same time hehe. Anyway thanks again with all my heart. I wish you all the best and keep it up! Stay sweet!

Your blushing bride,

Gorgeous Debutante: Patricia

Patricia struck me as such as sweet somewhat shy girl who apparently has huge amounts of talent. =) For Patricia, I created a mint green gown in duchess satin, organza and beaded white lace. Later that evening, the skirt was removed to reveal the Diva in Izah.=)

Camille Garcia at WeddingsTV

Last May 17, 2014 I was the featured designer at GMA7 ‘s WeddingsTV produced by the fabulous team of Marnie Manicad. Of course I was super kilig to be part of this show!!! =D Funny I seemed so serious here, I’m usually more bubbly in real life (obviously nervous in front of a camera!) My blushing brides who can attest to that.

Thank you WeddingsTV for giving Filipino brides a preview of my RTW Bridal Gown Collection! =)

Martin and Camille in Wedding Essentials Magazine

Thank you Wedding Essentials Magazine for sharing our story and photos in your real weddings issue! =)

It’s actually been over a year since our secret garden themed wedding reception was held at the Glass Garden Events Venue. In a way it feels recent since I still remember scenes and emotions from our wedding day vividly from having a mini panic attack just before the doors in the Church opened and being ridiculously thirsty and hungry after the reception (we actually had a post-wedding Mcdo meal in our pambahay clothes wearing our wedding shoes since we forgot to bring slippers)!!! I am still very much happy with the wedding gown I created for myself despite the countless designs I discarded until finally putting my foot down and committing to this one. But I am happiest because our wedding has brought us our little princess Ava. Yep, everything happened fast… very fast. It’s been a crazy ride but I’m thankful, relieved and happy that I have Martin by my side.

Of course I’m kilig to be part of this issue!=)

Blushing Bride: Sarabeth

When I met Sarabeth, it was already for her first and only fitting. She’s a blushing bride from California and arrived for her wedding in Glass Garden just a couple of days before. Since her family is very traditional, the first time she fitted her completed wedding gown was already on the day of her wedding! It fit like a glove!=)

After the wedding I got this lovely message from Sarabeth :D

God Bless.. mwaaah “
